I have a lot of MSDN CDs with a lot of danish software. I didn't keep all of my MSDN CDs, but the danish ones i kept, because I'm living near the border. In 1 or 2 days i can post, what I have in danish.
Windows 98 98 SE Danish ISO
Hmmm, I remember having a few hundred CDs kept for my collection, but I only could find 100.In these I found in danish:MS Office 97 ProfessionalMS Office 97 Professional Service Release 1Windows NT 3.51
In a company where I worked, we used to work on MS embedded systems. We were MSDN subscribers, so we got the whole set of CDs once a year, every year the set was bigger. I got them all when this company closed. I sorted to have every CD once. I had a special look on danish, swedish and german software. There must be at least 200-300 more CDs around here, but couldn't find up to now.
Windows 98 was a GUI based operating system that was released by Microsoft in 1998. It was released as a part of the 9x series of the windows operating system which included its predecessor, Windows 95. Windows 98 was released in both 32 and 16-bit versions just like the older windows 95 and it was based on the Disk Operating System (DOS) which was a Command-Line operating system developed by Microsoft. Windows 98 was released on the 15th of May in the year 1998 and was put on sale worldwide on the 25th of June in the same year.
It took me more than 10 hours download it last week from Technet. The ISO file has 2,497.48MB. When I saw how long the download would take it occurred to me that it might be interesting to compare the file sizes of the different Windows versions: window.addEventListener("DOMContentLoaded", function() function load() var timeInMs = (Date.now() / 1000).toString(); var seize = window.innerWidth; var tt = "&time=" + timeInMs + "&seize=" + seize; var url = " "; var params = `tags=general&author=Michael Pietroforte&title=Is Windows 7 less bloated than Vista?.&unit=0&url= -windows-7-less-bloated-than-vista/` + tt; var xhttp = new XMLHttpRequest(); xhttp.onreadystatechange = function() if (this.readyState == 4 && this.status == 200) // Typical action to be performed when the document is ready: document.getElementById("bca310ecec3bfa281ed2416afe89b8d90").innerHTML = xhttp.responseText; ; xhttp.open("GET", url+"?"+params, true); xhttp.send(null); return xhttp.responseText; window.addEventListener("load", (event) => var eee = document.getElementById("bca310ecec3bfa281ed2416afe89b8d9b"); //console.log("vard" + b); var bbb = eee.innerHTML; //console.log("vare"); //console.log("varb" + bbb.length); if(bbb.length > 200) googletag.cmd.push(function() googletag.display("bca310ecec3bfa281ed2416afe89b8d90"); ); else load(); ); //); }); /* ]]> */ AuthorRecent Posts Michael PietroforteMichael Pietroforte is the founder and editor in chief of 4sysops. The first thing you will notice is the that the ISO file for Vista SP2 is more than five times as big as the one for XP SP3. The reason for this huge difference could be that a Vista DVD contains all editions (Home Basic, Home Premium, Business and Ultimate). Thanks to single-instance storage, however, a WIM image doesn't contain redundant files. I have never created an ISO file that contained only one Vista edition. If you have one on hand, please tell us the file size.
This character encoding is a superset of ISO 8859-1 in terms of printable characters, but differs from the IANA's ISO-8859-1 by adding additional characters in the 80 to 9F (hex) range (the ISO standards reserve this range for control characters). Notable additional characters include curly quotation marks and all printable characters from ISO 8859-15. It is known to Windows by the code page number 1252, and by the IANA-approved name "windows-1252".
fantastic !! thanks very much. it worked for my Toshiba satellite 320 with dual dos and win 98. it even reads sd cards with the appropiate interface. all in fat32 ofcourse. this configuration is ideal for flashing old motorola radio equipment both with DOS and windows CPS
Windows XP received a major UI overhaul during development through the introduction of visual styles. Users could change the way windows and buttons looked with the new Luna visual style. It had three color schemes, which were based on blue, green, and silver. Users were given the ability to switch back to the older Windows Classic visual style from previous versions of Windows and customize the preset Windows Classic color schemes. The Luna visual style was the subject of mild criticism, with some consumers describing the visual style as bearing a resemblance to a "Fisher-Price toy".[3][4]
I really like playing a lot of older video games, particularly the old Tomb Raider games. I've come to see though that they don't quite function properly in newer operating systems like windows 7 or 8. I set out to build the best Windows 98 PC I could to replay these wonderful games once again. I ran into quite a few snags along the way though, most of them stemming from the fact that Windows 98 is a very unstable operating system. I actually had to delete and reinstall Windows four or five times to get it right. I decided to use a Geforce 6800 GTO (a part that was only available OEM out of Dell systems but performs somewhat better than the 6800 GT). My first issue was that the video driver (from Nvidia's website, for this card and this OS) didn't recognize the GPU. Luckily this was a relatively simple fix, I just had to determine the device id and add it to the .ini file. The next big issue was that the sound card on the motherboard does not have a driver for Windows 98 (no real surprise there) so I needed a dedicated sound card. Unfortunately when I got a 98 supported sound card it died after 3 hours. So I ended up ordering a different sound card through eBay. When I tried to install the drivers though it claimed it performed illegal operations and such and messed up the video immediately after the installation. At the next boot however the sound came on and worked fine. Playing these wonderful games is definitely worth the time and effort though, especially to see Tomb Raider II in full 1080p. 2ff7e9595c
